Kolkata Bangakanya Alleges Intimidation and Seeks Swift Progress in Gurugram Sexual Assault Case, Speaks Publicly About Medical Condition and Ongoing Criminal Case

 

GURUGRAM/KOLKATA: A woman from Kolkata, who has publicly spoken about being the complainant in a criminal case registered at Gurugram’s Sector-65 Police Station (FIR No. 172/2026), has shared details of her ongoing medical condition and the challenges she says she continues to face.

According to the complainant, she has been diagnosed with stricture urethra, a condition that she says developed following the alleged incident. She stated that she is undergoing continuous medical treatment and has appealed for justice while speaking to the media.

The criminal case names Anirudh, a student of Delhi University’s Ramanujan College, as the accused. The matter is currently before the appropriate legal authorities. The accused is presently out on bail. The complainant has also alleged that influential individuals attempted to intimidate her and influence aspects of the case. These allegations remain subject to legal proceedings and have not been adjudicated by a court.

The survivor has also alleged that she has faced intimidation and attempts to influence matters connected with the case. She has urged the investigating authorities and the judicial system to ensure that the proceedings remain fair and free from outside influence.

The complainant further stated that the medical records and documents submitted before the investigating authorities support her claims. The case remains under the jurisdiction of the competent court, and no final judicial determination has been made.
