Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries, made a significant visit to the sacred shrines of Kedarnath and Badrinath in Uttarakhand on October 20, where he offered prayers and donated ₹5 crore to the Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC).
Dressed in a white kurta pajama paired with a beige Nehru jacket, Ambani was warmly welcomed at Badrinath by BKTC President Ajendra Ajay. His visit is part of his annual pilgrimage to these holy sites, where he also paid respects at the Mata Lakshmi temple within the temple complex.
Ambani’s donation continues his long-standing tradition of supporting religious institutions across India. The Kedarnath shrine will close for winter on November 3, followed by Badrinath on November 17, marking the end of the pilgrimage season as thousands of devotees visit these revered temples each year.
